TFISE and UK's Appalachian Center are again partnering to present the Sustainability Forum to highlight accomplishments of UK’s faculty and students who conduct interdisciplinary research and other forms of scholarship in environmental and sustainability issues.  We welcome undergraduate and graduate research contributions in the areas of Environmental Science, Public and Environmental Health, Economic and Social Policy, Political Ecology, and Manufacturing and Materials Science as well as projects, artwork, design concepts, and other initiatives that provide creative and innovative ways to approach or highlight a sustainablity issue. Results of the 2017 President's Sustainability Advisory Council's Sustainability Challenge Grant program will be presented, and 2018 winners will be announced during the awards ceremony.  Faculty and staff are welcome to attend.

Please note that we have two tracks for presentations.  Track 1 includes traditional, data driven research projects.  Track 2 includes design and design concepts, art, and other applied projects.  Please see the scoring rubrics for each of the tracks below to select the appropriate track for your project.

Awards will be presented to best student posters/presentations.
Please email submission form as a PDF for Word file to by November 19, 2017
